I am located in s/w In. Am new to Explorer, But have had much time under & inside Mark 7's LSC's That is how I came to this site, I was active in the Lincolns online site so I knew there had to be a site for explorer's as well.
I have recently purchased a 95 XLT 2w/d that is cherry. The only problem I have with it is when I first start up and drive, if I get on it I get what sounds like A severe gas knock. Once the engine warms the noise is gone. Is it just the gas we are getting now days or an inherent problem with this breed. Mine is not the ohc so I don't suspect timing with only 100,000miles. any sugestions?
