I have been running DDM Tuning's 9006 55w 4300k kit in my 2011 Explorer for years. It is a FANTASTIC light output besides certain weird cutoff patterns and a slightly high angled driver's side beam which blinds drivers from the rear....need to fix that. I have been considering doing a proper retrofit with D2S projector lens and HID kit. They have become VERY reasonably priced and wondering if any has attempted to replace their halogen bulbs with a proper projector and HID kit like this one: http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Pack-D2S-PR-3in
