OK, if you are like me you like to carry a few things in your Explorer besides just people and a few packages.
The other day when I was putting the second row of seats down to load some boxes I noticed and nice little storage area that a lot could use for various things.
It is the floor space for the third row seats. The odds of me using those third row seats is very low so I now plan on using it for storage of a few tools, jumper cables and other items that would fit into it.
To access it all you need to do is to move the second row backrest forward and raise the third row seat from the stored position a little. It doesn't need to go all the way up but just enough to get items into or out of the floor area.
