I'm not exactly sure what the IAC valve that Steve is referring to, but it may be the same thing that I am going to mention. There is a valve that is attached to your upper intake manifold and is seen on the driver's side of the engine. It is around four - six inches long and is cylindrical in shape. I was idling high approx. 7 months ago and all I needed was to replace the gasket for the valve which mates it to the manifold.
I wen tot dis-assemble my air intake hose to clean my mas sensor, and found I had not pushed together my connector. After I did this, it runs fine. Thanks for all the help.
