high idle

I have a 2003 Ford explorer xlt 4.6 v8. I changed my spark plugs and noticed my emission control hose elbow broke. I changed it and now my truck idles high. It idles around 1900 rpms. Everything is hooked up in the right place. It never did it before I changed the plugs. I put the old ones back in and still high.

How long has it been running with the high idle? It could be the long fuel trim compensating for the vacuum leak. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if it goes back to normal.
