high rpm

well since I joined this site it seems everything is going wrong with my x.
My x seems to be reving high when normal driving the rpm gauge will rev up also. when I was coming to a stop it kind of burst ahead to with out the gas pedal really on. It is doing this also if I'm in park. I have 100thousand on it know so I'm not sure what it could be. It stalled on me once also when I was stopped. the check engine light has not come on yet.

you should be able to do yourself. run a search for throttle position sensor and or TPS and you should find related threads
