Need help! I have a 2002 XLT w/4.6. On light acceleration it is fine. On heavier acceleration..still moderate...it makes a "hissing" sound like the tailpipe is pinched closed. I have checked all the piping and it appears to be undamaged. Is the single exhaust that restrictive or is it an indication something is amiss? Please advise. Your time and attention is appreciated.
