you don't need a coil compressor to put spacers on your truck. You just remove the shock from the lower mount and the sway bar, and then jack up the truck and give it full droop. Then loosen the lower coil clamp to remove the coil spring. The spacer installs under the coil spring. Alternatly you can get 2" spacers from ebay that are made of polyurathane, I had those on a ranger with 2" springs for a total of 4".
One thing to think about, you may want to get a set of longer shocks made for a lift. Oh and you may also need to get some adjustable camber bushings to get your alignment back on.
The installation is very easy, you will need a jack that can lift pretty high to get the truck high enough to releive all the pressure on the coil spring. I used one jack and a jack stand to do the work. Jack the vehicle under the front axle and raise it pretty high. remove the wheel and place the jack stand under the frame. Then you should be able to let the jack down and give the suspension full droop to remove the spring. Don't forget to remove the sway bar and shock before letting the suspension hang otherwise you will not be able to relieve the pressure on the coil spring.
Do a search there are complete writups on how to install these.
your 30" tires will look a little small, but not horrible, that also depends on the type of tire. If they are highway tires they may look a little silly, if they are AT's then they should look fine IMHO
From my research on this site i whould say that most are going with the warrior shackles....Thanks for the pics of your ex........do you like the extra lift on your ex........Did your ex level out ok....not noticeabley higher in the front or rear butt hey i thought id ask............And since i dont think that i wanna do this again in a while ill be going with the f150 s i think........thanks for that write up tbars.

...i have no regrets at all on doing that lift and it was everything i wanted it to be...that truck is staying like it is, that is how pleased i am with that set up...
...the big key to leveling out is the shape that your springs are in, front and rear...and soft springs will give you good flex...
