Hole in my cat. converter

I just discovered yesterday that there is a hole in the rear of my catylitic converter. I thought i heard exhaust leaking from some where and yesterday I found the hole. Its not loud like it had blown out, you can just hear exhaust leak.

What would be the best fix? What would be a good aftermarket replacement for it?

there are four options.

weld the hole up
get a factory replacement
get a high flow (cheaper and better)
Cut it off
