hey yall. so Ive been wanting to lift my x since i got it. I made a set of homemade 2 inch shackles, using the existing shackles and a few strips of thick metal. and.ive been thinkin about buying front spacers, but I couldnt justify paying 130 dollars for daystar ones, espcially since poly is supposed to sag after a while. I found a few other cheap ones on ebay, but they just looked ****ty, for 40 bucks I figured I could make a better set. so I stole a few pieces of this tough teflon type material they use for panels on boats and cutting boards. all used was a drill press, a few hole saws and a file. I think they came out pretty good. supposedly the daystar spacers are about 1.3 inch thick, so I made mine the same thickness, and thats supposed to give about 2in of lift. im gonna installl them and put it all back together again tonight, hopefully, so ill let yall know how it goes. they took about an hour or so to make, of you can get your hands on some.of this stuff, its probably aboyt the cheapest way to make good spacers, luckily my grandpas got a lotta ****, so mine were free ;) lemme know what ya think, ill post pics too

yo I guess im just stupid or somethin, but im new to this forum ****, and how the hell do you post pics? lol

well if your hosting them to a site like a photobucket or etc you would use the img link or direct link , copy and paste that to the small square box that has mountains on it where you type your reply .

when you put the images urls in the [ img ] tags, you need the exact location of the image, not the url of the page that will display the image.

For example, you have http://i.imgur.com/l6iWeEm inside an image tag which won't show anything...

I added .jpg to that and now it does this..
l6iWeEm.jpg

BUT HOLY BIG PIC... Imgur can give you the direct link to the pics since they are yours.. grab the ones for the BBCode link.

oh ok, so just add .jpg and theyll show up? sorry I suck at this crap lol

That, or, even better, at Imgur, get the BBCode link.. BUT, you may still need to shrink the pics some..

I usually post my pics to Facebook. To load them on this site, I bring the photo up on FB, right click on the photo and "copy image URL"....from there, when posting, click the image icon, paste the URL, and you're good to go!

the bbcode is the same except it says .jpg. so how do I shrink the damn things? wayy more complicated than I thought itd be lol
