I have a 99 sport and the horn doesn't work. I checked the fuse, including the relay in the engine compartment. They are ok. I even tried to switch with another fuse just to make sure. Could it be the horn ??? Does anyone know where its located ???

it could be the horn itself, or its also possible that the wires to the horn were somehow severed or something? Your horn SHOULD be up behind your front bumper, on the passenger side.

On the 99 it is behind the bumper under the driver's head light. There should be two of them. Have someone push the horn and you listen under the hood. If you hear the relay click then it's the horn. If you don't hear the relay click it's the relay. If you hear the horn, get some ice, you just hit your head on the hood.

STeve...by any chance is your air bag light flashing too? my mom had her air bag light flash and the horn not work because the clockspring in the steering colum had broken

my horn and cruise control went out last month... i finally started yanking fuses and looking at each one and i found a bad fuse... i put in a new fuse and horrn and crusie control work fine....

The airbag light is not flashing. Also, the cruise control works which I think is on the same circuit. It must be the horn itself. Anyone know if theres a way to test it ?
I do know that when I was done checking the fuses, I tried it and it made a quick honk. Like when you tap on the horn. But that was it.
