Hot rear wheel after replacing the brakes.

99' Ranger
I have a 99 Ranger and just put new brakes on the back. Now one wheel gets very HOT. What's my problem?:rangerred:

Yep- hot rim after driving means that you have a brake sticking/hanging up, and creating friction while driving which heats up the rim...
 






You need to adjust the tensioner, it is too tight.
 






I had the same problem when I did my back brakes, and after making sure that the tensioners were all the way backed off, it turned out that the drums needed to be turned. End of problem.
