Doubt it seriously- those boots just cover a CV joint, "dents" don't necessiarly indicate a problem.

How Bad Did I Mess Up My Explorer?

yea i was going to take the ruber cover off to take a look but it was too dark out to mess with it tommarow ill take it to the shop and see how bad it is

Do not remove the boot- there are no serviceable parts inside- odds are you will destroy the boot and ruin the cv axle.
