Hello

A couple of my instrument lights went out and I'd like to change them.

One is the light near the gas gauge and the other is on the opposite side.

I was told by someone that it's hard to do.

I find it hard to believe that because thats something that would have to be done sooner or later. But I guess you never know.

I'd like some tips or help before I try to tackle it.

Any help would be great......

Your friend was right, it's a major pain. You need to remove the entire instrument cluster to change them.

I see on the web a site that tells how to remove the instrument cover. Is that the thing to do? Get the cover off and then remove the panel with the gauges on it to get behind it?

Yep, that's what you have to do.

thanks I'll wait til I have a nice day and tackle it.
