How do I tell if my Explorer can run on E-85?

As it says, how can I tell if my 93 Explorer XLT will be able to use E-85 (ethanol 85%, 15% gas).

the owners manual should say if you have it. but i think the 3.0 ffv are the only ones that i know of that fords says will run on e-85.

edit: i'll check and see if our 93 explorer has the owners manual, if it does i'll post what it says for fuel specs. unless somebody beats me to it.

You should have a sticker on your fuel lid which covers the fuel filler kneck. It will say Unleaded only which means just what is says or it will say ethynol, gasoline. Note do not run E-85 if it is not compatable. Usually there will also be a leaf emblem mounted on the vehicles that a flex fuel.

I didn't think any of the 93 models were setup to run alternative fuels.
