how do you get hold of Brian from Apten??

i have sent him 2 e-mails, one a LONG time ago and one fairly recently, about my chip that i sent back to him to be replaced almost 2 months ago. im using the e-mail bjherron@apten-us.com and i havent gotten a response. ive called apten about 3 times and the first 2 times he was out of the office, now the 3rd about a week ago the guy told me that Brian is now working full time at SCT?? any help would be greatly appreciated because i REALLY want my chip back!!

When I did the "Group Buy" for Brian, I got ahold of him about every 3-4 days by email. After that when it was time for me to order, he was very hard to reach, but I wanted to reach him by phone and not by email. I jsut kept on and on until I finally got through one day. I would say it took me about 4 weeks to get them on the phone and then it wasn't even Brian, LOL. So all I can say is good luck. They are 1 busy company that is definately moving up.

On another note, here is a copy and paste from a message I sent them with a reply. It has a different phone number on it. I used my cell phone to call them, it's cheaper. Hope this helps.

the guy at MB motorsports gave me brians cell phone # when i had a problem. Called it 3 or 4 times and left a message. no response either. im just living with my "Dual program" chip with ONE setting.
honestly if you are ordering from these guys the best you can do is cross your fingers.

Okay.....What's SVT? Is it part of Apten or a completely different company. If so who do we contact now? Gene Fine (?) perhaps that BBQ mentioned in his post? Anyone know for sure? I just picked up a used dual program chip and I really want to get it reburned for my computer code.

Hello everyone

To clarify things a little bit, as a part of it's growth Apten moved to Cincinnati Ohio. They are still developing the SOHC explorer kit, and still doing the same quality explorer/ranger tunes.

I recently accepted a position to work for Superchips Custom Tuning in Orlando, FL as their general business manager. Apten is one of SCT's customers, so I continue to support them and help with their tuning.

I also apologize for the delays in service anyone recieved. We hoped for a smooth transision, but there was about 3 weeks were I was moving from St. Louis to Florida and I was unable to take calls or emails sent to me. Right now everything is back to where it should be, and the last of the chip reburns was shipped out late last week.

I still have my 99 sport, so I hope to spend more time here when I get a free moment.

Lee S.- Seeming that you bought your chip from Apten, I would assume they would be the ones to reprogram it for you. I'm sure that if you called, they would send you in the right direction.

I called Apten and spoke with Brandon. He told me I need to speak with you about the reburn because I have a black colored Diablo chip and apparently you are the only one with the programming for this.

Is this true?

If so how do I contact you to get you the chip for the reburn?
