Did you try to use the Windows uninstaller? There should be an uninstaller on the Half-life installation disc, too.

My girlfriends brother stayed with us about a year ago and he installed all off it,so we have no disk.We just got done getting rid of all the **** sites that used to e-mail us all the time. These games he installed take up over 10000 files:(

Add/Remove Programs in the control panel, see if you can find them in those files.

The computer is starting to really lag.We added a digital camera over the weekend and we are about maxed:(

that program should work, I've used it on my Lap-Top before when i had Half-life, Ghost Recon, Kingpin (bad azz game but make sure you have enough power and memory to run it), and Flight Combat Simulator 2, didn't really install the full cd though scince I have them to access.

When I deleted them (everythings on our new desk top) I just used the uninstall option.

Scince youcan't exactly do that, try the add/remove program.

We already removed it from the add/remove but it still shows up on the virus scan.Chucky the computer is a 800mhz :D

yeah I had alot of trouble trying to get rid of half life too. Bad ass game, espically in the dorms when we were playing like 20 people at a time. But it doesn't like to uninstall at all.

I have the new Norton and I do a scan once a week and out of the 104000 files 7500 are half-life:(

I hate computers! Something happened last night when I uninstalled Soldier of Fortune and it jacked up my internet options, I couldn't connect at all, even though we have LAN at school. I said forget Windows ME and got an XP disk and loaded that up. Nothing is quite right, but at least my internet works and I have Office 2000, thats all I need right now.

Back-up, REFORMAT and reinstall.
