I have a 1997 Aerostar Cargo Van and would like to retro-fit it with cruise control. It has a 3.0L and I have picked up a new steering column with a tilt and cruise control equipped steering wheel.

Does anyone know if wiring is already in place in this vehicle and what parts I need to get, etc., etc. Any help or direction would be helpful. Thanks.

Welcome to this forum! There is a servo piston under the hood near the master cylinder that is connected to the throttle body linkage along with a wiring harness. You might be better off getting an aftermarket cruise control. There is a lot less work involved plus all of the parts are already supplied in the kit.
