Well we just noticed the driver's fog light was cracked and took a trip to the dealer. Where he was about to gouge me for 275.95

149.99 for parts and 125 in labor. I think I yelled or hung up on him, anyways... I picked up an OEM LIGHT w/bulb on EBAY for $39. I wiggled under there (which is a pain in the butt since there is that front aero fairing that goes all the way down...) I can see the its a simple job with just 4 bolts but from what I am seeing I have to unbolt all the plastic mudflaps around the tire to even get my hand in there..... Has anyone attempted this yet and have any thoughts, suggestions ..... maybe some instructions before I break something? LOL :D

You need to:

Take off the tire.

Be safe use a jack stand for safety.

Remove the fender splash shield by removing the screws that hold the fender moulding.
Then remove the rest of the screws that hold the fender splash shield.

Remove the fender splash shield.

Then disconect the connector for the fog light.
Then remove the 4 screws that hold the fog light in place.

Then rinse and repeat. I just had mine replaced. 143.00 labour in.

I won't do any work on this till the warranty runs out in 2018 or 215K km.
