Check out some of the interior pictures at this site. The Light Stone interior seems to be much lighter in those pictures than the colors on the Ford website seem to indicate. Can anybody who has the Light Stone provide some user input on exactly how light the Light Stone is, as well as some pictures if you don't mind sharing? Do the pictures at gtcarlot.com represent the color pretty accurately? The Ford website picture while building the car shows the color as relatively dark.

Thanks!

I think the gtcarlot site is more representative of the color. My dad has the Medium Light Stone and it is pretty light to me. If you are in a warm climate it might be a good choice or with certain exterior combinations. I have white platinum exterior with charcoal interior. Both interiors look good to me but I have small kids so I wanted charcoal seats.

I have the light stone in my 2011 Limited. I was hoping it would be like the light grey I had in my '09 Highlander but to me it is closer to a light tan than grey. However, it seems to be very difficult to capture in a picture. If you look at the interior shot, the actual colour is closer to that of the part of the lower dash shown in the foreground. I compared it to the sample of the interior colour in the 2011 brochure and it is very close. The actual colour is just a touch lighter, but not much. I would suggest trying find one to see for yourself.

Light Stone = Light Tan in any other car.

I modern decorating parlance, it, to me is "greige" (a mix of grey and beige). I have this color and love it; the interior is really dark with the black headliner and the lighter seats brighten it up.

+1

I think in a perfect world, I would be able to convince my wife to let me pony up for the Limited with the Pecan leather. I have a feeling she won't go for it though.

pony up.....pecan interior looks great!

i personally don't like ANY light color interior. it opens the door to too many stains and dirt. and i'm glad the headliner is black. it matches better with the charcoal interior panels. and again, a black headliner will hide any accidental stains/dirt from someone's hand.

Had it in my Taurus and liked it

I have now and like it....Picture a cup of coffee, now add way to much cream/milk to it....Light tan
