I'm working on ordering led bulbs for my 91. What is the right number of bulb just for the gauges not the indicators. Here is a link of what a 91 looks on the back. This is a picture from this site, so I haven't ripped mine out yet.

I know what most of them are but some don't need leds.

How many bulbs go in a dash cluster, "for gauges only", not for the indicators.

Thanks :)

Looking at the picture I think it's only 4 but I would get a few extra in case.

When you get it apart all the ones that are for a indicator light will be labeled so just replace everything else. When I did mine I think I ordered 12 bulbs and had several to spare but I also did the blinker and high beam indicator lights LEDs.

5 of those are for gauge illumination. The 4 you see off in nowhere, and the one that is offset from that row of 3. While you are at it, you might as well get LED bulbs for some of your other functions as well (like turn signals), makes it look so much more crisp.
