I got 166,000 on my 4.0, and tranny

Neither rebuilt.

My 98 Mounty has 111k. It has a bit of vibration and the transmission doesn't shift the greatest.. But I've only owned it for 2k miles or so.

my 1999 Limited SOHC has 85k Miles. Had to do suspension and front end work to it since I have heavy 20" wheels. Other then that, its been flawless.

my 01 sport has 72,413 miles on it

Mine has 153,000. Nothing has ever been rebuilt.

I have 196,532 and still goin strong i rebuilt the trans about 4 years ago because the prev owner was learning how to drive a stick lol. My perfect 91 x sport. lol

115,000 miles on 5.0 only thing i replaced was front hub drivers side and lower ball joint passenger side.My electrical was done recently so im into the truck for 1500 not bad for a 10 year old suv that still looks and drives like new.Limited 5.0 awd all black exterior with tan leather.

112000 miles and new problems but blower resister, shocks, serpentine belt. Really that is all and runs and shifts great. Longest I go is 5,000 miles between oil changes and started synthetic blend this year.
Oh yeah it is a 1997 xlt 4x4

100,6xx miles, all original 4.0L SOHC, 5r55e and 3.73 L/S.

62K on my '01 Sport :)

350,000 km on my 91
2nd 4l
swapped to manual 30,000 km ago
d44hp front
new lsd rear
still original manual transfercase
mostly original paint (hit a bear a couple years ago and painted the front clip)
Needs rocker panels next month.

Around 145,000 miles on our 97 Eddie Bauer 5.0 AWD. Tranny had the 35-40 MPH shudder until I flushed the old fluid and replaced it with full synthetic, has run smooth with no shudder ever since (approximately 40,000 miles ago).

Necessary upgrades / mods / fixes have been:

1) New alternator (October 2007)

2) Convert high mount brake light from neon to LED (November 2007)

3) Re-solder connection on Lamp Out Module to fix driver side headlight out problem (July 2007)

4) Blend door actuator repaired (August 2007)

5) IAC cleaned (March 2007)

All told, I've spent about $700 in fixes since purchasing it in October 2005. Next thing that will need replacing is probably an 02 sensor.

96 X 4.0 4x4 Auto 187, x.....tranny rebuilt about 3 months ago...

I've got almost 220,000 on my 94 4x4 auto. Had the tranny rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago.

Snowball has 185k-ish on stock everything but a IAC, DPFE and battery. :) She's a trooper!

My 97 XLT, has 177,750 miles with all original drive train. The transmission has been soft on shifts for the last year. It has been a very reliable vehicle. It will be hard to replace some day.

98XLT 4.0 SOHC with 140,000+ miles.

Only things repaired was a leaky steering rack, front left axle and cv joint, resurfaced rear discs.

The engine makes that noise from the timing chain about 50 percent of the time I start it up. But its not worth the money to fix it. I'm waiting for it to die.

Gas mileage is HORRIBLE
