How much does it costs to fix A/C Accumulator?

I just fixed my A/C accumulator in my 98 Ford Explore. I brought my car to the Lincoln/Mercury dealer, and they charged me 225.95 dollar for labor cost.
As far as know, the labor cost is determined by some kind of official labor cost manual of car. It seems little bit too much for me. I am curious whether this is a right price or a mistake. Can somebody tell me about this?

Well when you figure they have to

Recover the system charge
Change out the accumulator
pump down the system for at least 45 minutes
recharge and leak test
PLUS the cost of the accumulator and refrigerant

I'd say it's about right **if they did it correctly by the book**, in fact if I had to change a plugged suction filter dryer on your residential AC it would cost at least another hundred bucks

I'm with LongJohn, although you specified labor cost onlu. I will assume they had to recover the remaining charge, and then evacuate the system properly, then recharge and leak test (like he said)... that's in the ballpark.
