How much oil??

I am going to change my oil and was wondering if someone can tell me how much oil i should put in. I usually have it done but am going to o it myself this time. I just need to know how much to buy and how much to put in. Its a 93 xlt if that helps.

Yup, 5 qts, sometimes mine takes a little more so i usually buy 6 qts, or buy the 5 qt jug and an extra qt...

Yeah mine always takes at least 5 1/4 quarts.

I always put 5 quarts on mine. It has become almost automatic every 3 months. I don't even check the dipstick afterwards.
