How many litres of transmission fluid is in the Transfer Case on 1993 ford explorer and the A4LD transmisson?

2.50 pints = 1.18294125 Litres or rounded off = 1.18 Litres

Thats not very much, i thought it took around 3 litres, so the less the better, the less i have to spend... .. Especially when Motorcraft Mercon V cost $6.50 CDN a litre and the tranny takes about 9.5 litres.

I am going to be doing a tranny filter and fluid change at end of the month, may as well do the transfer case fluid at the same time as it uses the same tranny fluid.
