Hello Everyone,

Can any one help on how to fix a leak in the trans cooler lines of my 2006 ford explorer.

Would really appreciate your help. I am attempting to do something I have never done before.

God Bless,

Zeke

Zeke, welcome to EF. If they are metal lines you can cut out the bad section & use a piece of rubber hose for trans lines, or a union.

Dorman products make a upgrade transmission quick connect that has double o rings instead of 1 o ring like the Ford original. You can get it at Napa and Advance auto parts for about $35 each. Its just for the 2006 models too.
