My buddy is going to hook up another MTX 7500 series sub and amp (421D) in his blazer.

Now He also wants a power cap (I told him one farad would hold, posibly 1.5)

He already has one hooked up off of 8 gauge wire, and I see an output RCA next to his input...

Now from common sense I believe you can run an RCA cable from the out put to the input of the other amp.

But what do we do for powering the amp itself??

i know theres an option of a power distributer but I have no idea how they work and stuff....

should he run 2 (two) 8 gauge wire kits or should he go with a power dist.???

Thanks alot guys!

Your best bet at this point, is just to buy another 8 gauge kit. Most distribution blocks require 4 gauge or larger in order to carry more current to distribute. So, if you did the distribution block you would end up buying a 4 gauge kit anyhow plus the block. So, save yourself some cash and buy another 8 gauge kit.

alright, I knew that was most likely the right way to go, but its hiding more wires is the fun part lol

just noticed your from Iowa. Where abouts are you from?

more of the DMI area....rock the des moines *****.

I work down in des moines. Live up in Ankeny. Ted, where is oelwein?

get a distribution block! mine works fine off of 8g wire and i have two amps running off of it. One is a 350W Alpine and the other a 720W Kenwood
