I have to replace the daytime running light module...the wire is easy to get at and unplug but the module itself looks like a PITA to get out..any ideas on an easy removal ???...or should I just use some self tapping sheetmetal screws and mount the new one where I can.

I had to replace the one in my 99 last year. Located under the bumper by the left fog light. If yours is in the same location, then you are correct, it is a pita.

You will need some very small metric sockets and/or wrenches. Not sure of the exact size, but something like 5 or 6 mm.

I’d mount the new one somewhere more handy
