My daughter is home from college, which means some maintenance projects for our 2001 Explorer XLT 4x4 V6 SOHC with 183K miles.
The drivers side rocker panel plastic trim piece is coming loose at both the front and back. I bought a little time by putting a zip-strip tie near the back (ie in front of rear tire), but its working loose.
So wondering is there is a reasonably easy way to secure this trim piece (ie grey plastic piece that runs below the doors). There is a fair amount of rust in the area. I'm not sure what all will be exposed by taking the trim piece off ........... probably just rust ......... but I'd kinda like to keep the trim piece mounted somehow.
Any (cheap) suggestions ?
