How to Turn of keyless entry on 2003 ford explorer sport

A-couple days ago, a friend of mine figured out my code for my keyless entry. I would have reset the code but the dealer who sold me the car gave me the factory code so I just used that. I would like to just unplug the keyless entry but I can't seem to find it

The keyless entry module should me mounted in the passenger side, rear seat behind the interior trim panel. The 5 digit code should be affixed to it also.

The problem is his friend has the factory code.

If you do a search there is a way to change the factory code, but you have to open the module and rearrange the five resistors.

How about unplugging the keypad?

No kidding. I've shared my code and known the codes of friends' trucks (good friends drive Ford anyway). Never been an issue or a concern.
