Ok, wierd question.
My truck came stock with manual hubs . The owner before me switched to auto hubs because he had to use 4x4 every day to get up his driveway, and he was to lazy to get out and lock them:thumbdwn: .
I want to go back to manual. From posts I've read it seems that the only reason you need an auto to manual install kit is because the inside of a manual hub is smaller and won't fit over the spindle nut. Would this mean that when going from manual to auto the internals would remain the same. And now I can just slap on some manual hubs without an install kit?
