Hubs?!?!!? or what

hey there i have a '95 sport.... pretty much all stock at the moment excpet for the 31's... but lately my 4x4 is not working.... the 4x4 lights will flash when it is not in 4x4... but when i put it in 4x4hi or low... the light will go on like normal but the frfont tires do not engage... and in low i can feel it go in but again the front tires will not spin. every once in a while in 4x4 i will feel a clunk! but thats about it... any info would be GRRREATLY appreciated. thnx guys

I don't know much about that 4wd system, but I do know the 95 have a vacuum engagement of the front axle. Maybe it's that?

Yeah... I'd say clean all your electrical connections and make sure your vaccuum lines are attached and not kinked or broken. Also, I'd check/clean your speed sensor on the tansfer case.

yeah, your truck doesnt have hubs... the front always rotates... but it isnt until the tcase send power to the front that the fronts should spin....

man the drivetrain on these things are a nightmare, i just had my trans rebuilt about 2 weeks ago, and my tcase about 1 yr ago... and i just noticed that my tcase is leaking just a tad... the first i noticed of any 4x4 problem was after my trans was rebuilt, now i don't know if it has to do with that or not... becasue just tonight was the first time i have had to use my 4x4 in at least a few weeks
