anyone know how to remove the front windows? i plan to try tinting the front two windows on my explorer and do the tint job from inside my warm house.
also i think it will be easier to work with that way.

Honestly it would be easier, safer, and less time consuming to tint the windows in the truck. My dad has been tinting windows for over 25 years, and he has told many people that you will scratch the tint while re installing them, plus then you in some cases have to re align them. It is easier to tint them when they are out of the truck, but the risk in scratching your newly tinted windows is too high. This again is just a suggestion. I have no idea how they come out.

Interesting, i figured it would be cleaner and easier to cut around the edges with it out, i feel like i wouldnt be able to get the bottom of the window very good but i never thought about scratching it trying to put the window back in.

There are many tricks to get the cuts right, and how to get the bottom of the window done, it is hard to understand unless you watch somebody do it. If you clean the windows real well you should have no problems, clean the parts where the seals touch the windows real well. Keep in mind though that you don't see about 2-3 inches of the bottom of the window because it is actually inside the door with the window all the way up.

thank you, i bought some cheap walmart tint that was like 10 bucks for a huge roll of 30 percent. I figure i would practice on that before i try my own at some nice stuff..
