Solved I can't find where this plug goes on a 4.0L 1997 Aerostar.

Prefix for threads that contain problems that have been resolved, and there is an answer within the thread.

View attachment 74802hi I did a head gasket job on my 97 ford aerostar and I found where to put all the plugs back but 1 and it has me stumped.ive been looking for hours and I can not find where it goes.its a one of a kind plug with a little metal wire like snap clip.

Considering that the plug you show is nothing but a blur, it is going to be hard to solve your problem.
 






That type of plug is used on the injectors, crankshaft position sensor(, and the cam position sensor on the 4.0 SOHC).

Thankyou for your replies.it is the crankshaft position sensor.I found a post on here from a member that had the same issue.and also thanks to the member who posted the reply saying it was the injector crankshaft position sensor and camshaft sensor.on mine its just the crankshaft position sensor.thanks to everyone for your help.this is an awesome forum.I spent a whole day looking for that plug.thanks again.
