I CUT THE ROOF OFF, ROLL CAGE AND RINO LINER IN NEXT!!!!!

Well today off cometh the roof so I can modify my vehicle. It probably won't look much like an X when I'm done but the front clip will go unchanged!

Parts cut off so far:

I'll have more pics tomorrow!

I offered the roof rack to SVO, but if he doesn't want it, it is up for grabs (free for whoever will come pick it up, you can look at my pics to see how it looks with the tire on, it will hold 35 inch tire and line up with existing roof rack holes.

Oh. like I want a dented white door with a Red Cross on it:p :D

Are you talking about the thin pieces about 2.5 inces tall? If so, I can just pull those off mine. Are they easy to change from one door to the other?

I was wondering if Kevin still had his red cross? Maybe this year he can get one of those red flashing lights and a siren for his roof rack. ;)

:p

Not only do I still have the red cross, I have the roll of red duct tape to fix it when the trees and racks pull a little of it off. And yes, I have repaired the cross twice now. However, I am looking forward to having all my doors the same color again.

Ok I swear I'm gonna finish this soon, my axle conversion is done. So I'll have new pics up by the end of this week.:D

Ok here they are!

Well this weekend i finished the rock sliders, reinfocement of the track arm, and my spare tire holder. Next weekend I will be at it all weekend!:D
Tell me what yall think so far.

So if I give you mine tomorrow, when can I expect to have it back?

That looks supreme! I am sure you've answered this already, and since I can't remember, are there any plans for a rag top or any kind of cover?

SWEET MOTHER OF TIRE CARRIERS:eek:

That is a sweet way to carry it, does it affect your vision out the back tho any? Lookign good man, keep up the good work...

All I can say is "Wow!"

Thnx for all the compliments, it keeps me going (even when I'm worn out with working on it).

I am planning on making a rag top for it with marine grade material, and doors for it. I have already made one door out of rebar that doesnt way but about 3lbs. Next is to cover it for when the mud is flying.

Oh and the rear tire does cover rear view slightly but I can see around it.

Cmon and get a flex shot so you can have a new avatar...I think you have earned it. Looks incredible man, good job.

Holy CRAP what a mutant....You just want to be Truck of the Week!:D

LOL!

There is one thing I'll admit to, its I want to be done, LOL! I'll have more pics up on Sunday evening of the rest of the roll cage, hopefully this weekend will allow me to completely finish my cage. I'm almost there.:D

you might want to move the jack. i put mine there and it got cought on the ground and ripped the bumper off. cut off the crome and build a tube bumper that would br sick

Tubular bumper sounds great I might do that. Meantime It will probably be there a while, I have had it there for about 4 years and the only time if broke off was when I went on the AZ run last year one of the bolts actually just snapped in half.

You will probably see your idea used in about three weeks, thnx for the suggestion.:D

iv got a question what did you do for the drive shaft to line up. did you use the same drive shaft

ya i used the same front and rear driveshafts. They sell a u-joint with two different sixe u-joint cups to suit the stock drive shaft to the dana 44. and the rear u-joint bolts right up after you remove the rear flange (that normally uses 4 12 point 12 mm head bolts to retain to the pinion yoke) and the u-joints sits in perfect to the 9 inch. the other cool thing is the dana 44 axle shaft u joints and your rear drive shaft u joints are the same. So I carry plenty spares which keep me covered in case I break one.

By the way I will have more pics up including y winch bracket, my rocksliders I made and the work on the roll cage.
