I finally got my rockers fixed

Hey guys I frequently view this site but hardly ever post. Well last winter did my rocker panels in on my 91 X. The drivers side was gone from the door down and the pass side looked like swiss cheese. I fought with myself all summer about either fixing it or ditching it and looking for something else. Somehow I just couldn't part with this truck. I got an estimate from Maaco and a small body shop. Maaco quoted $600 and the other place quoted $420. I waited a month to get in at the small shop and a week later the guy calls me to say it will be $800. So I was irritated and I went and picked up the truck. I got another quote from another local place that worked on a honda I had some years ago. They quoted $800 up front. Out of desperation I dropped it off a week ago and picked it up to night.
All I can say is WOW this place did a freakin awesome job. The owner said he should have quoted twice they amount but a quote is a quote he said. They hand made all panels and covered it with undercoating.

Looks great! Many years of good service coming...

I know what youre' going through- I'm planning to get rid of my car payment soon as well, that's why I'm fixing up my 1995 XLT. How did that song go- "Small up and simple down" or something? I really like this old truck. :D

In april I paid off my 2003 Acura CL type S. This truck was purchased about 3 years ago as a beater and it has served its purpose well
