Well here is the last airdam Explorer Express had. It was there display model and has a crack in the bottom about 1" long, (see 2nd pic) but it doesn't go all the way through. I hope it can be fixed right by a good body shop. I wanted this bad, LOL.

Are they not going to carry the air dams anymore?

When they find someone to make it again. The manufacturer that did it before cannot be found anymore. They said that when they find someone to make the airdams, they will also get them to make the spoilers. I am certainly keeping my fingers crossed for that spoiler. That is the last piece to my puzzle that I cannot find.

Good for you,BBQ, I think only 3 of us streeters were able to get one, your fix looks minor, congrats

you gonna use it to its fullest?

oh yeah, talk me into a rear wing for my truck and consider them made, i'm also doing a new front air dam as well. Might be a one at a time thing (full custom) but i know i'm doing at least one for my boy Mikeknott in the coming weeks. as well as one for a 1989 el dorado caddy

Mine holds the front end down just fine between 140-160 MPH, this thing works :)

i don't believe it gets over 130

was an estimate, 130-160 ish

Well I already have the PIAA Pro90's, got them for $375 brand new. So you thinking about building a or 2 rear spoiler(s)? You need some encouragement or what? LOL.

well if i do one it will be a sublte rear spoiler, i'm definitely doing a air dam though (not in an attempt to compete with EE just to hook up my friend)

I agree. Minor damage. Can easily be fixed.

So only 6 screws holds it in place and all of them at each end? Doesn't the middle hang down because of this? Doesn't look like the strongest set up but it sure does look good.

it doesn't hang down because its very strong all across the middle. these things are pretty thick fiberglass.

I bolted mine down with even spacing all the way across. Never have had a problem.

oh what i meant by using it to its fullest, was the molding it in thing too. You know you want to have it done...

Call me stupid, I have no idea what you are talking about unless it is when I get that cracked part fixed I have them put some extra strenght to it or something. LOL, sorry, just not real snappy lately. Please explain.

I have the EE airdam molded all one piece with my bumper... look at the picture, it really cleans things up.

I eventually need to get one.
If they still have them
:)

drew, is the bumper misaligned? to me, it looks that there is a big gap right by the edge of the wheelwell and the bumper that isnt around the rest of the bumper
