He was pulling out of the parking light, made a left hand turn, and was coming to a yellow light. there was no rev up of the engine. when you accelerate, the locker engages, no matter how much gas you give it, works on centrifical force I believe. Well, when you take a sharp turn, under accel, the axles lock together, and the tires spin at the same speed, so there for the out side tire (right rear) will be moving at the correct speed for turning, but the inside tire, will chirp as it's spinning slightly faster that it should be to make the turn. Posi tracs will do the same thing, and so will limited slips under the right circumstances.
Doug's truck couldn't lay rubber if he tried, the tires have too much traction, and if he got them to break loose, something will break. To try to spin them going around a sharp bend will also be bad, that thing gets a bit tippy making sharp turns at high rates of speed.
I was in Hazelton PA, and was making a u turn in the rain, so my light turned green, and I punched it. My LS kicked in, and I hooked a perfect 180 two lanes wide. But I didn't notice the cop sitting behind me at the time. I saw him out of the corner of my eye while I was going around, and when I strightened out, he just gave me a friendly wave
Jersey, I don't even want to think about what would have happened, so I don't mess around here.
Oh well, small town cop syndrome, just remember, all the ******* cops that abuse there power, were all picked on when they were kids. Napolean Complex
