I hope this is not stock, that is HORRIBLE!

I was under my 95 last night, geting that plastic trim off to paint, and took a quick look at the exhaust, and my jaw dropped to the floor.

The tailpipe that comes out the back, when it bends a little before the tip, THAT IS RIDICULOUS!

I swear im about to cut it right before that, thats gotta be holding my engine back, it goes from the 2" circular pipe, to like a 1/2" diameter...

I think im gonna head to murrays today and find a dynomax muff, and a new pipe to come out the back lol

A picture would help. They all bend down right before it exits out the back, but I don't recall mine at least reducing to an extremely small diameter right before the bend. They also bend over the rear axle, too, and there is no problem there. Perhaps someone has replaced the pipe at some time and didn't bend it well?

I know they all bend, but it looks like someone bent the damn thing over theyre knee!

Im pretty sure its stock, its the stock muffler and all that, so its welded...

Ill go take a pic right now, check back in about 5 mins lol

The pics dont make it look too too bad, but its literally a half an inch diameter its like pinched, like someone bent it over theyre knee and kinked it

the bottom is a little bit wider than the top of the bend

Im deff gonna be heading to murrays when I sell the upgrade cell phone from sprint I got, sposed to be getting 150$ for it, thats going towards catbacks LOL

Yea that's not stock. Looks to me like somebody hit it and bent it giving it that horrid kink. Either replace the pipe or an exhaust shop might be able to straighten it out, however they might just cut off the end and replace it.

I'm thinking that's exactly what happened, same thing happened to me in December. I got rear-ended lightly and it bent the tailpipe, I bent it back as best as I could until I could get it fixed and it looked just like that. I ended putting a Gibson cat-back exhaust on it.

That pipe can't be fixed it'll have to be replaced, I doubt it's really holding any power back though.
