I am having a hard time finding a diagram to pull the dash apart to get the stock stereo out with out breaking or " TRIMMING " anything any help would be great

Thanks

its pretty easy to ge tthe bezel out. first the ash tray comes out there is a clip up by the light bulb. then when u get the entire lighter/tray out there is two torx screws. thats all the hardare. then just pry out. you might have to move the steering wheel and shift lever and that might get tricky but its the onnly way. i know in my aunts lincoln towncar which has the same radio it was acutally screwd it so it might not come out just by pulling but removing the trim should help.

there is also a good write up in the 91-94 section about removing the dash. with lots of pix.

Yea, in my 97, that outside molding pops off VERY easily.. I used a little flat-head and just wiggled it under and twisted it.. I had bent a couple coat hangers for a "removal tool", but I unscrewed the 2 or 3 screws first.. There's 1 kinda hidden too from what I remember.. But after the screws/molding were out, the entire thing just slid out heater vents and all.. The deck was still attached tho, and at that point I just brought the whole thing in the house, and used the coat hangers to pop it out.. It definitely wasn't hard tho.
