i need help with my explorer

hi i have a 1996 ford explorer xlt 4wd 4.0l 6 cylinder and i just change the spark plugs oil change spark plus cables and new kn air filrter and i need to know wat cheap set up or modification i can do to help my explorer run better, i feel it too slow and do not accelerate too quickly but it runs fine i never had problems with my explorer thank you

id say the most important things are making it breathe better... intake/ exhaust/ headers. Then you could look into stuff like getting a performance programmed computer and the like. It all depends on how much your willing to spend. What kind of mileage are you getting. Also, are you throwing any codes? If your mileage is awful, and/or your throwing codes, you might have some other underlying problems to look at too that are hurting performance.
