i got a question, i got around to mocking up the front end of the truck, and i might have run into an issue...
the front end is a triangulated 4-link, i plumbed the f250 steering box for my hydro assist.. i dont want to go full hydraulic steering yet and im wondering if im going to encounter a lot of problems from my drag-link to the pitman arm?
i know most of the time you should go full-hydro with a 4-link and no trac bar because of the amount of flex.
any input would be helpfull
thanks

It is not the flex but the geometry of how the suspension moves in relation to the steering link geometry. You will get bump steer with a triangulated 4 link and traditional steering linkages. There are 2 ways around this. First is full hydro like you mentioned and second is to run a bell crank style steering with the draglink running parallel to the links and about the same length as the links to match the suspension's arc. Here is an example of this kind of steering setup being mocked up
