Hey I just want to thank the many posters on this web site for the good advise on replacing the radius arm bushings.

I did it on the ground in my drive way. I didnt have jack stands so the truck was on the ground. I drilled out thr rivets. I had to use a big adjustable wrench and a floor jack to bust loose the big nut on the radius arm. I cut a piece of two by four and wedged it in the passenger side between the arm and frame, that side seemed to want to go up. I put the jack under the driver side one because that one wanted to go down. The wedge and jack held everthing in place so it all went back together smooth. Used grade 8 everywhere, it seems pretty stout.

I used TRW heavy duty bushings. They are great compared to the old ride.

Needs shocks next, but I think I'll let my knuckles heal a while.
