Contact them and verify the part number you'd need to order. The 1822 fits most all of the 8.8's since 1987 or so up to early 2000's (Ford 8.8" 1986-newer with 7/8" crosspin) but they don't list applications past 2000. No need to say you found one on eBay..........

EDIT: There is conflicting info out there.............CALL RICHMOND.

Why dont you just buy it directly from richmond, I think its only an extra 20 dollars or so, which i think is well worth the piece of mind knowing that the warranty will be honored, youll get the right part and that you can return it. The Ebay page says no returns, so if they send you the wrong part you could end up being screwed. Ive seen it way to many times on Ebay.

Good point for $20 difference.

good points fellas, i think ill do that. the very last question i have is that during the winter i dont live in a place that snows, but i do head up to the sierra mountains and tahoe to do a lot of snowboarding, i wanted the lockers for the places i visit in the summer time, but how will it handle in the snow? im sure that i will have to drive it differently because of the locking, but is it advisable to throw lockers on a truck that will spend time in the snow up in the mountains?

yes lockers can only help in the snow, its helps in the same principle that it does in every other condition it will keep both wheels spinning thereby providing more traction.

You will have to be careful when pressing the gas and turning when in snow or you may fishtail.

awesome advice fellas, thanks. i finally got my shocks, so once i get those put on im going to get my aussie lockers and i will document the install and throw it on the forum. ill try to make it as noobie friendly as possible being that im pretty much an explorer newbie myself.

Good luck with that. I was going to do a write up also but I had such a PITA putting the thing together that I didn't snap any photos until I was done. I had to take mine apart after I installed it because I forgot to install the thrust washers. Its harder to take apart then install let me tell you.
