Id like to hear from anyone who runs the Super Swamper SSR.
Im looking to get a set of 285's soon, and these are on my list.
If you have them on your vehicle Id like to hear your impressions.

Thanks in advance.

I just recieved my SSR's about 2 weeks ago....I think they are awesome....They give a slight humb going down the road (some may not like it, but I love it)....don't really go off-roading besides the beach sand....which worked out great....I would do it again if I was given the chance....i run 32x11.50x15

Thanks,

How did they balance? Bigger tires with chunky treads are notorious for balance problems, just curious.

my friend's friend's uncle's brother had some. he never said anything about them though. :D sorry... had to.

Mine are ok. On road they do have a hum, but at 60+ I get a vibration in the whole truck. These tires are hard to balance. I would recommend Equal. I just rotated my tires and it seems like I got about 5 more MPH until the vibration starts. Either it's the balancing or the tire itself thats making the vibration. Offroad, they are ok - they clean alright, but not as well as I thought they would. I was in a pretty wet grassy area and just started doing donuts and then started to try and climb a hill and I couldn't because the tires were so filled up. And they fill up quick.

EDIT: After writing this post, I was wondering how bad the vibration got at higher speeds. The fastest I've been in my Explorer since the lift was about 65mph! Well today I got up to probably 75mph and the vibration wasn't too rough - but I wouldn't go anything faster on these tires (atleast not with a IFS). Just my opinion!
