Well i have done the rubber.. what else is a easy mod to do? I have a dvd system inside (touchscreen 2 din deck) and just want to make mine look a bit more unique.

so fire them away :)

it is he so far, it has 285 65 with 18 inch boss rims (falken tires right now) adds a good 2 1/2 inches over the explorer.

Also mechanic wise, I have had to do the transfer case already, and now crown and pinion, these know for going so soon? (whomever owed it before must have been really rough on it)

Thanks for all the ideas a head of time!

What are the lighting laws in Canada? Can you have clear corners and slightly tinted tails?

That vehicle is very clean... any issues with the tires rubbing?

not sure about the lighting laws up here, gonna look into it before i do HID lights..

tires do rub if you crank hard turning in reverse, but it just hits the plastic flap inside, nothing major. the tires do stick out quiet a bit.. fun in the snow so far as well (it floats more than normal tires)

as for taillight tint, im going to keep away from that. some cops bug ya, some dont..

thats a nice lookin ex man. really clean

thanks flying... im worried on how long its going to last.. has 200k kilometers on it.. whats the avg lifespan?

i found cheap headrest tvs (universals) online just now, but id love to figure out some exterior ideas or 1 off ideas :)

Whatever mods you do......keep a theme going. Wether you want a street look or an off-road look. Don't just buy crap off ebay and stick it on.....that is tacky. I do highly recommend getting clear corner lights to get rid of the amber......it makes a HUGE difference. Billet grills also compliment the Explorer really well.

It's already really nice, it's the front end that needs changing... or needs to be reorganized. I agree with ^^ keep it consistent.

If you want an off-road look, get new coil springs, from http://www.coilsprings.com/
you can level it out by getting 2 inches in the front, or you can get 3inches all around. It looks good, a few of the members on here have done it already. I know i will be doing that, as soon as my money allows me to. Also get different corners as suggested. either clear, or black. if you go black get the headlights too.

i say bump it up with some new coils and get a new grill. also take off the running boards and the explorer emblem on the doors.

don't worry about the life span, as long as they make parts or have machine shops, it is indefinite.

nice x u got there u should put an exhaust like the 40 series flowmasters

LED reverse taillights, leveling springs, conical (cold air) filter, flowmaster 40,and a remote starter r the most practical purchases ive made

the LED reverse lights come in handy and are quite practical because they use less power, take an instant to light up at full capacity, and are tons brighter... here r some pics of them and how far u can see behind the car
