Does anyone know what the IACV voltages should be for a 94 XLT 4.0L? I have the breakout box connected and the measured voltages are the opposite of what the Emissions Diagnostic Manual says they should be.
Idle 30 mph 50 mph
Manual 8.0-VBAT 9.5-10.3 8.3-9.8
Measured 8.8 8.3 6.3
I am a bit confused by this incongruity. Why does the IACV voltage drop so much? Is this a bad IACV? I am going to replace the IACV with a new Motorcraft unit but I am starting to suspect the EEC.
