idle problem

got some strange idle problem with my '91 explorer -
when engine starts, the idle is OK and is about 600RPM.
after a ride the idle increases to ~1000-1200 rpm.

vacuum lines? idle motor? any ideas?

mine does that too i have a 92 but after about a minute it settles back at 600-700 RPMs

Mine started doing that, but mine would go below 600 and bounce back. Turns out I had a vacuum leak.
