if i install a autometer temp quage will it affect my computer?

If I install a autometer temp guage and disconnect the factoy guage will it affect my computer at all, like will it make the truck run like its cold all the time?

If you have a way of mounting the sensor that leaves the oem computer sensor in place it shouldn't effect it, if you have two temp sensors, ones for the computer, and one is for the gauge/idiot light.

I disconnected the gauge cluster sender and replaced it with my autometer gauge and did not disturb my computer temp sender.
