If I lift 3" do I still need shackles??

Alright, I have a sagging a$$ right now, and I'm going to be putting on WAR shackles to fix it. BUT in the summer, I'm going to think about lifting 3" so would I still need the shackles or will the lift fix the sag?? Thanks.

3" was just a random number I picked and threw into the post. Basically, will I still need the shackles if I lift the truck at all....

Well, if you are going to buy a kit, like Trailmaster or Superlift then probably not, but you will have to release some of the tension from torsion bars (why you have a sagging ass end, probably) the kit will have everything you will need. Some folks install a kit and still crank up their bars and still need the shackles to even everything out.
If you are getting a BL then yes you will need the shackles, you will staill have a sagging ass just 3" higher.
